When I met my partner Thoor, he asked me if I could paint the divine feminine for him. I was delighted. Even though, up to that point, I hadn’t approached this theme directly, I knew this had been, somehow, my most recurrent theme.
All comes from the waters of creation. The waters, like the womb, hosted the beginning of life on this planet. Although there is an active principle in this, and it is very creative, there is a receptiveness, a trust and a surrender. But this trust is not naïve in nature, it is pure but not innocent, it comes from the deep knowing of oneself. It is the vessel that receives the masculine principle.
